BK-con entails broad experience in EU funded projects, at a development and implementation level. Being founded in 1994, we have over 30 years of expertise in transnational projects having participated in the design and implementation of a total project value that exceeds the budget of 4 billion Euros. We operate in a multicultural environment, speaking more than 6 languages, offering expertise in various fields including Education, Employment Policies and Social Inclusion. Our broad network of partnering organizations and experts exceeds Germany and covers the EU while we are also present overseas (i.e. Asia). We provide a wide bouquet of services, facilitating capacity building and quality assurance. Our intention is to use our experience to provide added value for organizations and partners at local, regional, national and transnational level, creating added value for our societies, in a sustainable manner.

European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB)

The European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) is the European umbrella association of free and non-profit educational providers. Its objective lies in the qualitative improvement of vocational education and training in European countries and an increase in the efforts being carried out in education at a European level. The European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) is the European umbrella association of non-profit providers of Vocational Education and Training (VET). Its objective is the qualitative improvement of vocational education and training in Europe and beyond and to increase the efforts designed to promote VET as a first choice. EVBB has more than 80 members coming both from the private and the public sector and covers all fields related to initial, advanced and further education and training.

The Institute of Vocational Training AKMI is the largest VET provider in Greece and one of the 7 largest in Europe. It was founded back in 1989 and today is active in 9 cities across Greece (Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Larissa, Rhodes, Chalkida, Elliniko, Alexandroupoli) representing almost 60% of the total VET sector in the country providing post-secondary education, of EQF levels 3-5. Every year, approximately 18.000 active students are enrolled with the aim of studying one of the 112 specialities, in more than 380 laboratories in 14 different sectors within more than 37.500 m2 of infrastructure across the country. The fields of study in the campuses of Athens are numerous and in all of them, AKMI gives the students tools to collaborate and problem solve, brainstorm and reflect. Apart from the technical part of learning, experienced educators ensure an inclusive community among the students and cultivate a safe environment, allowing them to open up, discover new directions and ultimately, help them create a new mindset. Social Inclusion and the Gender Gap are important issues for AKMI, which youth can reform and gradually resolve through education. In one word, AKMI hopes that with proper education, the youth can become productive, scientific-oriented, broad-minded, and ideal citizens as society is significantly influenced by this category of people.   AKMI has also numerous accreditations from different institutes and sectors e.g. Alain Ducasse Education, Pearson- The world’s leading learning company, ITEC- Education & Media Services, AHLEI- American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute etc.   Overall, AKMI S.A. employs approximately 1200 people as permanent staff and collaborates with a multitude of teachers who are entrusted with the delivery of courses to students. The permanent administrative staff of the AKMI institution is 170 professional individuals, with expertise to inspire educators and academic staff recognized for their innovative research and teaching standards, thus forming a highly-motivated community in the Institute. The qualified educators are 600+ in number having critical and evaluation skills in collaborating with the admin staff for the division of the students into groups and classes according to their qualifications, language knowledge, critical thinking, and mindset. Most of the educators cooperate and manage, in collaboration with the admin office, the total administration of the summer schools, mobility programs, training seminars and lectures, and social and cultural events.   Finally, AKMI SA is the only Greek Centre of Vocational Excellence, a partner of the European Network for Excellence, developed by the European Training Foundation. Members of the ETF Network for Excellence share a commitment to improving the functions, processes, organisational characteristics and relations with partners that characterise centres of vocational excellence.

EUROCERT is an independent body for Inspections, Audits and Certifications . Having developed a high level of know-how and experience in the global market, it offers more than 60 Certification and Inspection services in sectors including food safety, agricultural products, tourism, energy management, environmental sustainability and railways. For the past 25 years, EUROCERT follows a steady growth course worldwide , having already carried out 40,000 industrial Inspections and having awarded 55,000 certificates in more than 40 countries with a network comprising of more than 500 inspectors . EUROCERT is established overseas as the trusted body of Audits, Inspections and Certifications, having secured worldwide presence and major international accreditations. By adopting a continuous development policy, EUROCERT has evolved into one of the most successful multinational companies, with extrovert strategic planning, offering high added value and innovation.

We are a Vocational Training centre in the city of Madrid, the National Reference Centre in the area of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in Spain (https://frioyclimatizacion.centrosdeformacion.empleo.madrid.org/). We belong to the network of centres of the Community of Madrid. We are, therefore, a public centre, which trains more than a thousand students per year. Our training offer is very broad, ranging from our specialisations in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or Heating Installations to the areas of Plumbing, Automation, Didactic Methodology, Software for Installations or Social and Health Care Assistance, and it is primarily addressed to unemployed workers. We also manage EU Erasmus+ mobility grants for our students in several countries and, as a National Reference Centre, we participate in national and international Work Programmes.

Newport Group proudly stands as a co-founder of the Dual Academy, in partnership with Volkswagen Slovakia, Siemens Slovakia, and the Bratislava self-governing region. The Dual Academy represents the most advanced secondary vocational school in the Bratislava region, with a primary focus on mechatronics and autotronics. With a dedicated team of 40 professionals and teachers, we strive to provide students with state-of-the-art education and practical skills. Our commitment to excellence is further enhanced through collaboration with employers and the transfer of foreign know-how.
